Trash pickup every Monday; recycling every other week -- make sure your trash and recyclables are out by 7am!

New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are the only 6 holidays observed by Waste Connections. Since our trash day is Monday, the holiday must fall on a Monday for pickup to be delayed one day.

Recycling

As of June 2010, the City of Westminster requires all solid waste companies servicing the city to provide curb-side pickup for the following recycleable materials:

• Aluminum
• Tin
• Glass
• Plastics #1-7
• Magazines
• Paperboard
• Cardboard
• Newspaper
• Phonebooks
• Office Paper and Junk Mail

Waste Connections also provides recycling service for Cambridge Farm. Recyclables are picked up on the same day as trash (Monday) every other week, and do not need to be sorted. No specific type of bin is required -- you can use any container that suits your needs. Just be sure to leave it a couple feet away from your trash so it's distinguishable as recyclables.
